This 1902 dated Carl Gustavs M96 Mauser chambered in 6.5x55 Swede is a good solid rifle. The bolt has been modified to clear a scope and the receiver has been drilled and tapped for either a scope or aperture sight. the rifles bore is clean and the rifling is strong, these are great mechanically accurate rifles that are beautiful to shoot.
