M38 Carcano Chambered in 6.5x52 Carcano, a great little rifle that has gotten a bad reputation for inaccuracy as a result of undersized projectiles in ammunition. This rifle is in good condition with clean strong rifling and shoots well at 100-300yards. the Action is simple yet smooth and fast to use, its a great fun rifle to shoot.

The M38 was the pre Second World War update of the m91 Carcano by making a general short rifle with simple fixed sights and chambered in 7.35 x 51. Production of the new 7.35 ammo was limited once the war began so in 1940 along with the production of a new Carcano long rifle, M38 short rifles were made in the old Italian 6.5x52 cartridge.
