This Lee enfield is a Target Rifle conversion from a No.4 especially for the police shooting teams, a predecessor to the official adoption L39 model as a standard name. It has all the correct period modifications done at time of conversion with the only additional modification being the addition of a Bipod by the police themselves. The rifle is in excellent condition with a fantastic bore, it would be an excellent addition to any collection or for one who wants a great target rifle with a bit of history behind it.
